Rod and Scott Will Tie the Knot Sunday, April 5, 2026
They say some of the best things happen in the later years, and for us that couldn’t be more true. Meeting later in life, we both came to the table with full experiences, with stories of life’s adventures, and having navigated its curve balls. We had a settled sense of who we were so there was no rush and no pressure. It was just the simple joy of getting to know one another. What started as easy conversation and shared laughter quickly grew into something much deeper. Within that first year, we realized that while we had waited a long time to find each other, the timing was actually perfect.
Our first year together was defined by a sense of ease and an undeniable chemistry. We navigated the trials of a new relationship with a comfort that felt like we’d known each other for much longer than we had. To celebrate the journey of those first twelve months, we marked our one-year anniversary with Scott skydiving for the first time. That was the also the day he proposed, turning a one year milestone into the beginning of a lifelong commitment in the name of love.
As we look toward our wedding this April, please join us as we celebrate that it is never too late for a new beginning.
